About

My work at The Bridge Therapy is to provide a compassionate, comfortable environment where clients begin the personal and important work they have identified. I believe The Bridge Therapy offices are the appropriate environment to support the building of a therapeutic relationship between the client and the therapist. The forming of this trusting partnership along with the client’s belief that they can be betteris a cornerstone of my work and my colleague’s work.

The work is based on this premise which allows the development of a most personalized path for emotional healing. I believe that a person’s innate self-healing is cultivated and activated by relationships, resources, dialogue, respect, and care. My belief is that personal healing and success can mean life doesnt always feel that hard, that it may feel easier, and that some comfort and relief might be felt.

Counseling talkingtherapy can help establish the belief and feeling that you felt heard, and understood, you’re not crazy, and you DO matter. My perspective based on experience is that better health may not result from large-scale dramatic changes but usually by practicing daily positive mindfulness, and healthier habits. Im grateful that people have chosen my colleagues and me to help and accompany them toward better health.

Charles Mott, LMSW, CLC

About

My services are client-centered, which means I work collaboratively with my clients to develop and define treatment goals. I have worked with families, children and adolescents, and addiction counseling.

Mental health challenges are also common among the people I serve. I have worked with anxiety, depression, and several mental health challenges. I also worked as one of the area’s main counselors for persons with Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injuries.

Everyone’s story is different, as are the challenges you are personally going through. I believe that therapy should be tailored to the client.
